The second round of the iCON Touring Car Championship was held at the Kyoto Ring National Reversed, and an exciting round saw 41 drivers try to make the final 18 spots on the grid.  Another close field in qualifying assured that this round would hold more exciting racing.  Bumpdrafting on the long oval section and long infield straights was high on everyone's mind, especially after the controversy of bumpdrafting after the final round last season.  Race 1 saw the first iTCC race which had all starters running at the finish, and Race 2 saw the series second abandoned start.

The extremely popular iCON Touring Car Championship came back earlier this month, and after some discussions of an appeal, the results are now out.  Three different winners in three exciting races set the tone for an exciting season ahead.  All three races of the day were seen to be rather clean from the administration side after reviewing the race.
