The seventh and Final Round of the 2009 MiniFBM Season has been run, and a bit of controversy has ended this season. Fredrik Enersen wins the race, and due to a penalty to Rik de Jong, the championship by three points. If the penalty had not been issued, Rik would have tied Fredrik in points but won on tiebreaker of most wins. Jack Sedgwick earned his season best finish of second, followed by Tommy Ostgaard in 3rd. Round 3 of the 2009 MiniFBM Series has been run after being postponed until this point in the season due to low attendance at the originally scheduled date. A great grid of 15 cars attended the race on the modified South City Town course, and provided excellent racing all day. My3id's Martijn Bont won pole and the Sprint Race, with his teammate Rik de Jong finishing second in the sprint and winning the Feature.

Round 6 of the MiniFBM 2009 Series was held at Aston Cadet Reversed. Rik de Jong cut slightly into the points lead of Fredrik Enersen, making the gap a mere one point going into the final three points-paying events of the season. Rik won the pole and won the Sprint race, but could only manage third in the feature race, which was won by Fredrik Enersen. The series heads to South City Town Course on November 29th, to run the rescheduled third round.

Sunday, November 1st saw the 5th round of the 2009 MiniFBM Season, and it saw the first race of the season with no attrition. Everyone who started the races finished. This was also the first time with the new format of a 25-km sprint race followed by a 50-km feature race. Kenneth O'Keefe took pole for the Sprint, and won it, but ran into problems on the Feature Race, and could only finish in midpack. Click on "read more" to view full results.

Afer Round 3 was postponed until season's end, Round 4 was run on its scehduled date of October 25th. Kenneth O'Keefe won the pole, but only managed a 4th place finish. Fredrik Enersen achieved his first victory of the season. Click on "read more" to see full results.
