The final round of the 2010 LFSCART Light Winter Series season was held as part of Champion's Week in Kyoto.  This race was the kickoff race, and had some exciting moments, but also some controversy.  Near the middle of the race, a majority of the field recieved penalties for overtaking the SC while entering pitlane, which jumbled up the order until a caution flew a few laps later.  A wild race saw 7 Safety Car Deployments for a total of 25 laps spent under SC.  The race had an average speed of 93.68 miles per hour (150.77 kilometers per hour).

• Car 30 received a 30-second penalty for causing an avoidable incident.
• Car 42 received a 30-second penalty for causing an avoidable incident.
• Car 32 received a 1-lap penalty for ignoring yellow flags leading to an incident.
• Car 81 received a 1-lap penalty for ignoring yellow flags leading to an incident.
• Car 71 recieved a 30-second penalty for causing an avoidable incident.
• Car 51 recieved a 2-lap penalty for ignoring yellow flags leading to an incident and unsafe recovery from an incident.
