After a somewhat safety-car filled series finale, Tiger Express Motorsports win their first team title after meh Racing and Sonicrealms Racing were unable to sufficiently outscore the Tigers. Sascha Riegler had clinched his Driver's title with three rounds to go, leaving him able to focus on the team title fight. Martijn Bont won a caution-filled Sprint Race by a nose, and Sebastian Hutchinson won the Feature Race, which after a slightly longer green flag run, ended behind the Saftey Car.
New Dimension Racing wish to thank all drivers and teams who participated in this season of the LFSCART Light Summer Series. We plan to return with the LFSCART Light Winter Series beginning later in November.

The penultimate round of the inaugrual LFSCART Light Summer Series was held at the end of August at the Autocross area, with a layout designed to emulate the Martinsville Raceway in Virginia. After fears that Sascha Riegler's exclusion would not be lifted, Ben Keough came in to help out Tiger Express, and help out he did - he swept the day! Sascha was permitted to race pending further review of his appeal, and he used the time to clinch the Driver's Title. The Team championship is sitll open between Tiger Express Motorsports and Meh Racing into the final round.

The last road course race of the season was somewhat chaotic. The most penalties issue in a round of the season came here, with more than 20 penalties issued. Sebastian Hutchinson took the win in the Sprint Race, but had it taken away for shortcutting the course, handing the win to Matias Pikkarainen. Simon Cattel won the Feature Race, but behind him, controversial incidents occured from the final complex on the last lap through the cool-down lap. Dennis Lind had contact with Sascha Riegler, then on the inlap, both drivers swapped paint in intentional contact, seeing both issued exclusions of certain levels. See penalties list at end of results for details.

After a week-long postponement due to server issues on the initialy scheduled race date, the drivers returned for a good days' racing on Aston National, the second to last road course on the LLSS 2010 schedule. Sascha Riegler could have locked up the drivers title mathematically here, but Simon Cattell finished close enough behind to keep it mathematically alive. However, the gap is so large, that all Riegler must do is start the sprint race at Kyoto to clinch the title. At Aston however, the battling throughout the field was intense, with a great battle between Rudy van Buren, Cattell, and Riegler. The team battle stays close, with three teams in the fight for the title - Tiger Express Motorsports, Sonicrealms Racing, and meh Racing.

The LFSCART Light series started its second half with a trip to LFS's oldest circuit, the Blackwood Grand Prix track. Blackwood is a narrow track, very club style, leading to difficult overtaking of your competitors and lapped traffic. The races were generally clean, with no major incidents. Sascha Riegler dominated, increasing his championship lead to 146 points over 2nd place, and helping Tiger Express Motorsports close the gap in the team standings to just 11 points adrift of Sonicrealms Racing. The Series heads at the end of the week to Aston National Reversed for the penultimate road course race of the season.
