After much discussion, the decision was made to create a Light division of the main LFSCART series. The Jamaica 130 FOX race held at the end of July 2009 proved that there were high levels of interest for a FOX racing in the format of LFSCART .
The LLSS is the LFSCART Light Summer Series, and will be run throughout summer 2010. LFSCART Light events consist free practice, qualifying and race sessions. Qualifying will be held similar to the LFSCART qualifying but with a Fast-Six-Superpole at the end. There are two races of max. 30minutes and 60 minutes. The shorter one, the Sprint, is started via standing Grand Prix start after a formation lap while the Feature race is started via a rolling start, like all oval races.
