Kyoto 500 Qualifying weekend took place on the 19th and 20th of June 2010. Dan Sanger (Raven88) was the fastest driver of Pole Day, setting four 36.96 laps. Bump day saw the arrival of more drivers to do hotlaps, with the 'bumping' itself beginning with around 3 hours to go. Ultimately, a full grid of 30 cars qualified, with four cars unable to meet the standard required to remain in the top 30. Qualifying was as close as ever, with 1st and 30th place seperated by only 0.06 seconds
