| Grand Touring Amateur League |
The Grand Touring Amateur League is an endurance racing series run in GT2 restricted FXR, FZR and XRR cars. The season consists of a mixture of 3 and 6 hour races, with a 12 hour race as the season finale.Designed as a 'feeder' series to the higher level Masters of Endurance and IGTC leagues, the GTAL introduces less experienced players into the world of endurance racing in LFS. Whilst this is an amateur league, we still expect from all racers a clean and fair standard of driving. At the higher end, we do however restrict entry of drivers who we may feel are 'over experienced', in that they have already participated significantly in the larger endurance leagues mentioned above. Entry applications are accepted in the form of teams. Whilst there is no specific maximum or minimum numbers within a team, no driver may drive more than 75% of the race distance. This therefore sets an unofficial minimum at two drivers. Next Event: Round 1: The 3 Hours of Blackwood Grand Prix Reversed on November 14th 2009. Qualifying on November 8th and 13th.
